Karen Schwalbe Jones, began Pilates. Evolved. in 2017 after selling her Los Angeles Pilates studio to move to Austin, Texas. For over 25 years, she has been combining her wealth of knowledge in biomechanics, anatomy and Pilates with the good ol' get in shape and stay attitude of fitness.
Whether you want to improve your flexibility, play golf or tennis better, accelerate recovery after an injury, or simply make a positive lifestyle change, Pilates. Evolved. has something to offer you.

-ABOUT MY PRACTICE-

I have been a certified & practicing Weight Lifting coach for over 30 years.  

I began teaching Pilates in 1997 when I realized that I could teach weight lifting better when applying the principles of Pilates.
The foundation of my practice combines the physicality of an intense workout with the mental connection of an athlete.  
By integrating the six Pilates principles of centering, concentration, control, precision, breath, and flow, I strive to promote an understanding of the interdependency of all these aspects in personal health and wellness.

-PACKAGE OPTIONS-

As all people's preferences and bodies are different, so should one's workouts.  

You may choose to workout solo, with a partner, or in a group setting.  

Pilates.Evolved. can accommodate your needs @ any of the below settings (prices will vary with the group size).

Pilates.Evolved is based on the belief that mental and physical health are interrelated, and should be conditioned together.
Pilates for Rehabilitation @ Pilates.Evolved., strives to coordinate breathing and physical movement, improve focus and concentration, and help participants regain total control of their body.

Karen is a tremendously knowledgeable, skillful and caring Pilates coach. Beyond that, she has an amazing ability to assess what is needed by listening and observing posture and body movement and to customize the optimum workout regime for each individual. Working with Karen, I have improved my core strength, posture and range of motion in a very short time.
