He was telling me about his journey and dropped this little nugget: honey and cinnamon helped him lose weight. Wait, what? Well! #mondaymantra EDUCATE yourself people! We see others having success with something and we just hop on that bandwagon as if we're identical twins! As if??! ...Clearly, I'm a wee-bit emotional on this subject. This is YOUR life and your success depends on YOU. Not someone else. Seems pretty obvious when said like that eh? Then why the heck so we do that? Because it's easy. PEOPLE!!!!! STOP taking the easy way out and take some time to superficially research something BEFORE you jump on that bandwagon. Pretty please? Good Thursday! This week has been a struggle to keep my inside voice in. REPEATEDLY I hear people "should", "wish", "want to..." etc. HUH? Like, really? Do you hear yourself people? My #oneminutewellness is about: getting started. Without using my nomal go-to F-word expletive: JUST DO IT! For the love of G-d! Just do it. What do you want that you do have? It’s Tuesdaytips day! It’s summer time which also means all summer good n bad happens. Cuts, bruises, green hair from pools, swimmers ear etc etc... SO READ UP PEOPLE THIS IS A GREAT LIST! -APPLE CIDER VINEGAR: calms your system. eczema, psoriasis, rashes, sunburns, UTIs, yeast infections etc. Take DAILY: 2T solo, 1/4C in a MASSIVE glass of water, 1C in a bath. -WHITE VINEGAR: takes ALL tea, sweat, stank and dingy out of whites. Apply onto white. Soak. Place in laundry as usual. -HYDROGEN PEROXIDE: cleans owies (yep, love that word), skin, helps with swimmers ear etc. 5 drops in ear & wait 5 minutes. It's that time again! PART 3: CARBS. First two of the macronutrients were: Protein and Fats (last 2 wellness blogs) People think that if they cut out mean-bad-carbs they'll be all skinny. NOPE! You'll just be tired, ornery, feel light-headed and feel/act "stupid". Oh yes, and let's not forget HEINOUS breath. And this is the superficial sh*t.
