I’m not sure where “taking care of yourself” turns into a laborious, overwhelming prospect. Its paralyzing to many!Keep it simple: put those things in front of you to help you…help you. CHOOSE 3 things that you do every day. Start there! FRIDAY: Maturing-ish

I used to go to bed and think about who I may have offended during the day, so that I may apologize! #truth It was as if my brain, heart and mouth weren’t in the same person. It felt awful. Maturing; time, mindfulness, desire to create change, experiences and many apologies helped me find my inside voice and therefore, my intentional voice. 🙏 Mind you, that voice also has the mouth of a sailor. I have ZERO problem w/getting older and my bday is my version of New Years Eve! ...Strange as that is bc I am scared to death of dying. I have spent the last 30 years in this world of fitness. I’ve spent the last 20 learning business. In that time, I needed to prioritize, create/define order and make decisions best for my life; kids, hubby, business, dogs, teachers, clients, etc. So life didn't suck me in and define me. I needed to define it on my terms. Some of it intuitive, some I’ve researched. I looked into the lives of the most productive & successful people. 🔻Here are 5 things I learned that ALL of them do: 1. Wake early. EARLY is self-defined. However, all of them before 7am. 2. Eliminate decision making tasks: PREP the night before 3. Like I said yesterday: Create your A.M. routine. 4. ROUTINE sounds borrrrrring….I get it. HOWEVER! We all know that routine also lends itself to a calmer, healthier and more productive day and ultimately, life. The most successful people do, wear, and eat the same thing every day at about the same time. Whether traveling or not, same routine. Partially, because they are making LESS choices. Partially, because they enjoy & need to have a routine for the things that require less of them but allow them more focus for work. A small list of the simpler choices: drinking water, counting blessings, stretch, check emails etc. The smaller things that set the tone for the day but aren’t “the day”. Hey y’all! Here we are again not only @ Goals but actually making CHOICES . Let’s say that you want to change your Butt and Legs: Bigger? Leaner? More Definition? . WHY? -what’s your athletic reason? -what’s your physical preference? -timing/committment: per day & per week . FOR EXAMPLE: I’m a runner (let's keep it real: jogger/shuffler). I like going for 4-5 miles 4 times per week. If I knew that my 50 year old body would tolerate more, I would! My brain could surely use it! #prozac I work my little legs to stay long, lean and light. I choose smaller, lighter, dense not, large muscles. Obviously, this doesn’t correspond with wanting a big bootie. I choose running over being #bootylicio
